MANAGEMENT OF REQUESTS, ANIMALS, AND CAGES

All procedures related to animals, including their acquisition, their allocation in cages and rooms, the participation of these animals in different experimental procedures, the appropriation of the costs generated to the different projects or funding sources, their breeding, etc. will be managed using the “AniBio” computer programme.

REQUEST FOR ANIMALS FOR EXPERIMENTATION

To request animals, it is necessary to complete the ‘New Request’ form in the ‘Requests’ section of the AniBio computer programme menu bar. This form must be approved by the Project Manager and the Research Group Manager or Department Director. In ‘Manage Requests’, the user can track their request. In the ‘Observations’ section of this area, the Centre will notify the user if there are any delays or problems with the request.

REQUEST FOR SERVICES, MEDICATIONS, AND SUPPLIES

Requests for services, medications, and supplies are also administered through the AniBio management programme. To make a request, complete the corresponding form in the ‘Services’ area in the computer programme menu bar. Likewise, the user may track their requests in the ‘Status of Services’ section in ‘Observations’. The Centre will report and explain any changes in status.
